What is Chiropractic Care?

Chiropractors seek to provide back pain relief, as well as ease neck pain, and to improve mobility and functionality in their patients. They study the neuromuscular structure of the body and focus their efforts on the relationship of the nervous system to the spine. If the spine has structural damage, the nervous system will be affected.

Symptoms and Treatment of back pain?

Chiropractic treatment is meant to restore the integrity of the spine. Chiropractic diagnosis is classified in three categories – potentially serious, nerve problem or non-specific.

“Chiro” means of the hands and “practic” means practice. Chiropractors are known for manually adjusting the spine to provide pain relief. There are side effects to chiropractic adjustment. Aching and soreness in the spinal joints and muscles does not usually last over 24 hours. An ice pack will reduce any pain quickly.

Exercising can help to ease chronic back pain. The idea is to strengthen the lower back and help develop proper muscle tone.
